Hi, my name is A.J., owner of Ankh Fitness. I have been changing lives through fitness for over 10 years. Fitness and nutrition became a passion after watching my mom battle and lose the fight against cancer. Since then, I have been dedicated and motivated to help those who want to be fit and live a healthier lifestyle.
For me, staying active began at a young age (I participated in the sports of baseball, football, karate, basketball, and track); so whether you are 8 years old or 80 years old, I can help you achieve your fitness goals safely and efficiently.
Certifications & Qualifications Include:
- National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association (NESTA), Certified Personal Trainer
- Certified MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) strength and conditioning coach
- Nutrition specialist
- CPR, AED & First Aid Certified

I am Yvette, and I'm a client turned trainer of Ankh Fitness. As a young girl, I was very active. I participated in Karate, Track, Cross Country, and Congolese dancing. Health and Fitness was not a concern.
As I got older, emotional and health issues overtook me and I eventually found myself in size 18 at 220lbs. I had low energy and self-esteem, so I made nutritional and fitness changes with the guidance of the Ankh Fitness program. Now I am proudly back to a healthy and fit state. You can view my Ankh Fitness transformation on the Before & After page, 60lbs lost!
The program changed my life and it is time to pay it forward. In my journey I found a passion for fitness that I want to use to help and guide others. It is never too late and you are worth it!

Hey, I’m Cj, personal trainer for Ankh Fitness. My fitness journey started over 25 years ago. As I transitioned from high school sports, 24-hour fitness became my new home. What started as a way to stay in shape, and cope with stress, fitness turned into a daily passion that changed my life. I was driven by the desire to feel stronger, look in shape, and feel more confident and in control of my health. Over time, fitness taught me discipline, resilience, and the value of consistency, and now it’s a core part of who I am. Fitness became my therapy now it’s my lifestyle!
